Compact Laminate (Solid Laminate): façade plating panels produced by placing layers of décor paper with high UV resistance on front and back sides of many craft papers saturated with thermosetting resin, pressing at high temperature (150 °C) and pressure (100 bar kg/cm2) for 60 minutes.

Compact Laminate Façade Systems are called half ventilated face systems in the literature and there are 4 types of façade applications:

1. Hook System:
This system is applied by hanging 8 mm or 10 mm compact laminate panels on aluminium vertical and horizontal carriers by means of aluminium hook apparatus screwed on back surfaces. This method is commonly used especially for coating the facades of multi-storey buildings.

2. Rivet System:

The rivet system is applied by fixing 6 mm or 8 mm compact laminate panels on aluminium vertical carriers using the right technique with rivets in the same colour as the selected panels. The system is preferred for coating the façades of structures with wide openings as it is mechanical, fast, sound and economical.

3. Adhesion System:
In this system, 6 mm or 8 mm compact laminate panels are glued to vertical aluminium carriers using adhesive systems produced for exterior façade conditions. The system is the most preferred application thanks to its technique that is suitable for realizing creative designs and that can be applied fast.

4. Clapboard System:
The system is applied with hidden screw or rivet system on aluminium box profile or wooden carcass. It consists of horizontal parts overlapping each other and it is the most effective system for water isolation. The clapboard technique is mostly used on facades of detached and low-rise buildings.
